PARK(ing) DAY!
PARK(ing) Day is a worldwide celebration that happens in cities and communities across the globe where citizens, activists and artists unite to turn metered parking spaces into temporary pop-up parks. Born out of a desire to combat urban sprawl, PARK(ing) Day encourages “stopping to smell the roses” in reclaimed parking spaces throughout a city. I turned a parking space into a Photo Booth which invited the subject to come and lay down in the grass.
